I was so honored to have a baby shower thrown by my close friends Angela Estrada and Tasha Yatchman. Many other friends graciously contributed their culinary skills as well. The setting was a brunch at Tasha's beautiful home on 1/29 at 11am. The pictures of the party really don't do the decorations justice.
First off, the company was wonderful. I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed at all of love and kindness that was shown. The theme was turquoise and brown all around the house. From the many flowers, helium balloons, hand made cakes, jelly beans, turquoise punch, even to the hand made name decorations. The food was outstanding and just what a prego momma craves (everything). The hand made decorated foam letters we will get to use in the NICU to personalize Hayden's private room.
Another wonderful thing that Tasha allowed was for moms with young children to bring them along. Hanna had such a wonderful time that it really allowed me to relax and have fun at the party.
After the party was over, I tried to keep most all of the gifts in their bags so that Scott could have his own fun reopening all the gift that night in Hayden's room. We really had such a great time and had so much fun opening gifts two times. We are so grateful to all of those that helped us welcome our baby with so many thoughtful gifts. Hayden received many wonderful things and we are so excited to meet him on the 24th!
