Hayden Thomas Trigg anxiously arrived on Feb 24th @ 8:01AM. 7 lbs 10 ounces, 19.75 inches long. Mom delivered by C-Section and was so strong and a little scared. She did wonderful and I love her so much for all her strength during this time. She is such an amazing woman. The nurses immediately took Hayden for clean-up and to wrap his lesion with basically a foam and cloth diaper. He was stabilized at the NICU at Seton Main in Austin. Ga-Ga (Mary) and Hanna arrived around 10:00 to visit mom and Hayden. Mom is doing very well, recovering from the surgery and trying not to let the pain meds make her crazy. At 12:00, Bishop Brent Allison arrived to visit Hayden and we were able to give him a Priesthood blessing for strength, comfort and healing. He then visited Adrienne to see how she was doing. Love to him and his family for all that they do for us and our entire ward. At 1:00, Hayden visited Mom, Dad, Ga-Ga and Hanna for the last time before he was transported to Dell Children's Hospital. Mom did not want him to go. We all cried again....At 1:30 he was loaded into the NICU ambulance and had a comfy ride to Dell. We are now hanging out comfortably in his room. Every doctor and nurse has been absolutely wonderful at Seton and Dell.
Hayden's surgery to close the lesion in his spine and possibly put in the brain shunt will be done tomorrow. We are still awaiting the actual time of day it will take place. A million thank yous, hugs, kisses and love to everyone who has prayed, fasted and for giving us all there love and support. Adrienne and I are both overwhelmed with the amount of joy we feel right now and have felt through this entire journey so far. It is all because of our, faith, family, friends and most importantly Heavenly Father.
