Day 7-Geneva

This was our most crazy busy beautiful day. We feel like we cheated Geneva. We didn't realize there would be so much beauty to keep us from getting there sooner. We will have to make another trip there one day.
At the United Nations headquarters.
Our last day in Switzerland.

Castle Chillon.

Gstaad

Wildflower trespassing.
This is the cost for just a half tank of gas.

On our way to Geneva we took the long route. We had the most beautiful drive through the mountains. Here is where my uncle grew up.

Oh my goodness! I have enjoyed looking at your photos so much-I worked at an American School in Switzerland in 2002 and 2007. I have such fond memories of it! Chateau de Chillon was right at the bottom of the mountain where the school was. We passed it all the time! Some of the pics of your drive to Geneva also look VERY familiar-do you happen to know if you passed through Leysin? That's where the school was. Beautiful pictures-Switzerland is such a BEAUTIFUL country!
