7th Surgery for Strabismus Esotropia

We pray that #7 is the lucky end to all of Hayden's surgeries. He was a champ for his crossed-eye surgery today (strabismus esotropia). I am attaching pictures for those other kiddos that may have to have this surgery some day. To explain the medical definition of what this is and how it works well in infants, see this link:http://www.strabismus.org/esotropia_eye_turns_in.html

The pictures of Hayden's eyes look pretty bloody. While they look bad, he has been a happy little guy all day. We go for a follow up with the doc in the morning. Our camera's red eye reduction made the red black.
You can see how his eyes crossed in the before pictures while in his stander. His stander came in this week. While it looks just like his loaner, he seems to love it even more! On a side note, Hanna slept in her big girl bed for the first time last night and was great. She loves her big bed and horsey sheets. She also had a great time at her pre-school Valentine's party. We also had a fun time making and distributing our valentines to a few of Hayden's special care providers.
